– Pretty loud,

However, these being so loud, I intend to use these as helmet speakers only for navigation. The mic seems poor so calls may not work best.

Read on for a little background on why I find these good.

I did a little DIY helmet speaker by breaking apart an otherwise fine over-the-head headphone – tested the setup and felt proud to have completed it with the only gripe that the wire length of my old headphone was 1.5 meters and there were 2 pins – one for speakers and the other for mic (old style PC thing), and so I was looking for a 3.5 MM jack wire, the cheapest of which was upwards of Rs 150.
Then I saw this and thought why not order this instead for Rs 99, it comes with a single pin and there is a mic – I could throw away the earpieces and use the pin and wire to hook up with my old headphones speakers.

However, when I played, it was way louder than my headphones

Also, the size is pretty small, so I guess I need not clip these, and maybe I can fit in the helmet as is. Note that I would not recommend wearing any sort of earphones inside the helmet – any impact could damage your ears. So I intend to paste them in the pocket provided for headphone speakers, and maybe even lay them sideways to reduce the perpendicular footprint.

So I guess these could well be used as helmet speakers because they are so loud. I already have a Bluetooth module.
